Civil Engineering student summer placement supporting site engineering on a major low-carbon infrastructure project at BAM UK&I. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Communicating effectively with site management, technical specialists, commercial staff, planners, engineers, supervisory staff, operatives, suppliers, third parties, and client representatives • Maintaining high personal standards in health and safety • Maintaining high standards in environmental awareness and behaviour • Supporting quality delivery through effective planning and right first time delivery • Monitoring and recording delivery against the agreed programme and construction methods • Maintaining good working relations with client, designer, supply chain, and others • Ensuring works are accurately and clearly set out before work commences • Working on excavation, construction of access roads, and site preparation for future reactor construction at Hinkley Point C About You The company is looking for: • Currently studying towards a degree in Civil Engineering • Excellent communication skills • Driven and self-motivated • Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required Benefits • Employee Assi
