Civil Engineering student summer placement supporting site engineering on a major low-carbon infrastructure project at BAM UK&I. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: Communicating effectively with site management, technical specialists, commercial staff, planners, engineers, supervisory staff, operatives, suppliers, third parties, and client representatives Maintaining high personal standards in health and safety Maintaining high standards in environmental awareness and behaviour Supporting quality delivery through effective planning and right first time delivery Monitoring and recording delivery against the agreed programme and construction methods Maintaining good working relations with client, designer, supply chain, and others Ensuring works are accurately and clearly set out before work commences Working on excavation, construction of access roads, and site preparation for future reactor construction at Hinkley Point C About You The company is looking for: Currently studying towards a degree in Civil Engineering Excellent communication skills Driven and self-motivated Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required Benefits Employee Assistance Programme Flexible
