Design Manager - Rail M&E (MEPHFC) Location: Elephant & Castle, London (Hybrid - 3 days on site) Contract: Full-Time Delivering MEPHFC systems for HS2's flagship Old Oak Common Station. We're looking for an experienced and motivated M&E Design Manager to lead engineering teams and drive high‑quality design across complex, multi-disciplinary rail projects. What you'll do: Lead and manage engineers producing MEPHFC designsOversee technical assurance, BIM coordination, and design governanceManage programmes, mitigate risks, and ensure right‑first‑time deliveryCollaborate with PMs, commercial teams, and stakeholdersChampion innovation, digital solutions, and sustainable designWhat you bring: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringProfessional registration (IEng/CEng or equivalent)2+ years Rail Design management experienceStrong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skillsExcellent understanding of MEPHFC systems, design assurance, and rail standards
