An opportunity has arisen to recruit an Engineering Graduate (Electrical) on a 2-year fixed-term development programme within the NI Engineering team. The role will be site-based across Kilroot and Ballylumford Power Stations, with occasional travel to our other sites or supplier locations as required. This programme is specifically designed for recent graduates at the start of their engineering career, providing structured development within a large-scale power generation environment. The successful candidate will primarily support the Electrical Engineering function, while also gaining exposure to Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems as part of a broader development pathway. Role Overview You will work alongside experienced engineers supporting outages, plant improvements, and reliability-focused projects across both sites. This is a hands-on, site-based role, requiring a strong presence on plant and close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and contractors. You will gain direct exposure to high-voltage systems up to 275kV, complex plant systems, and real-time operational challenges within a flexible generation environment.
